Google Pixel: Google is developing its Pixel smartphones day by day. It is offering better facilities than before. In this sequence, a new news has come out, according to which Google can introduce emergency SoS feature in its upcoming phone Google Pixel 9 like Apple’s iPhone.
New feature of Google Pixel
However, Google has not yet officially confirmed this, but according to the report of Android Authority, Google is preparing to include the Emergency SOS feature in the upcoming Pixel smartphones. A video in this report shows that when users try to access emergency services, they will see an animation.
Looking at this report, it seems that when users try to access emergency service, Pixel 9 may ask some questions to the users before making the satellite connection. For example, before giving emergency access to Pixel 9 or Pixel Fold 2, users can be asked what has happened to them? Are they having trouble breathing? There is a fire there or there is a problem related to weapons, etc.
Will there be a partnership with Elon Musk’s company?
Therefore, it is possible that the next smartphones of Google Pixel will be able to use the emergency SOS feature through satellite connection after knowing the answers to some such questions. To enable this feature, Google can partner with T-Mobile, one of America’s popular carriers. T-Mobile announced more than a year ago that it had teamed up with Elon Musk-led SpaceX for satellite messaging service.
The latest update about this service came in January, when the company confirmed that it was still testing the functions. In such a situation, it is possible that its testing will be completed by the time Google Pixel 9 is launched in October this year. However, another report issued by a developer said that he has spotted some codes on the Google Messages app. According to this developer, Google can use Garmin as a satellite service provider.
